Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about our cloth diaper service.
Do I need to rinse off the newborn diaper before putting it in the pail?
NO! That is the wonderful part of a diaper service, poop and all goes right into the diaper pail. Lift the lid, and throw in. Newborn poop looks like mustard, and is very runny, even if you try to rinse it off- nothing will come off.
Can I pay with cash?
Yes. We can give you a timeframe of when we will be at your house within 1hr. We can knock and receive the cash payment, or you can pay: cheque, EMT (email money transfer), paypal, visa, or mastercard.
Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Gift certificates are available in any amount. We can email you a copy of the gift card that you can resend to new parents or print off. Payment accepted for gift cards: EMT, cash, credit cards, and paypal. Contact Us to inquire. Grandparents - or others who want to pay for the cloth diaper service until it is complete, it can be setup to be billed on your credit cards, or paid by EMT.
Can I get my family to contribute to my diaper service?
Yes. We can issue gift cards, and set up a registry for you. Once we have set up an account for you, friends and family can contribute any amount to your cloth diaper service. You will only get billed for the remaining amount (if there is any left).
Do you have fitted cloth diapers?
No. The reason why is due to babies varied sizes, we find prefolds will fit even the smallest baby. We have 3 sizes of prefolds (newborn, infant, and baby size). Also if using the regular cloth diaper service the bleach will break down the elastics in the fitted cloth diapers (and they won’t fit properly).
Why should I choose organic?
It is a personal choice. Some babies have sensitive skin (to harsh chemicals like bleach & laundry soap). Organic service prefolds are also softer as they are washed with a natural laundry soap ,hung to dry, rewashed, and fluffed dry with wool dryer balls.
What happens if it rains for 1 week straight and I have organic service?
We have a backup supply of cloth diapers that will be used, but even on the rainiest day, often there is 20 minutes of sunshine which will still sun bleach out the cloth diapers.
What if I have the cloth diaper service and I want to go on holidays?
Let us know 1 week in advance and we will put your cloth diaper service on hold while you are vacation, and resume it once you return.
What if I order the cloth diaper service but my baby comes early?
The cloth diaper service starts when you want it to. If you are making trips back and forth to the hospital, it may be a very busy time. Get settled with new baby, and we will come give a demo, and bring the cloth diapers whenever your family is ready.

How to Deal with Poop and Prefolds

We have 3 sizes of diapers:
Premie: 6-12 Pounds
Infant: 8-16 pounds
Toddler: 16+Pounds or when starts solids
Trifold the diaper. Fold in the 2 sides, you can also fold down the top to make smaller
Trifold the diaper into the diaper cover, and ensure the diapers isn't hanging out of the diaper cover.
